There’s a place you do not want to go
It will be the death of you.
Blindly headed for the end
Seems that no one warned you.

Can’t you read the signs in front of you?
This road ends but do you care?
Hell it was and Hell it is
But you need not go there.

There’s a cross that’s standing in your path
Jesus calls you by your name…
Will you stop or walk on by
What’s your destination?

One Response to Destination

  1. Christine Hare/Tate says:

Great message in your poem Tom! Reading the warning signs is paramount. People drive their cars and must heed the danger & detour signs, how much more they should follow the Lord’s warnings and heed the message of the cross and head in the right direction? God Bless dear friend!
